Lullingstone Castle is currently being filmed for the television series 'Return To Lullingstone Castle' on BBC2, a follow up to 'Save Lullingstone Castle' about the exploits of the Hart Dyke family to keep the castle which has been around since the Norman invasion.

Aside from the early Norman Church and manor house which entertained Henery VIII and Queen Anne, The gardens are a key feature.

The 120 acres of grounds are being transformend by Tom Hart Dyke into a first class mini world of garden plants, showing the origins of plants we take for granted. Whether you have watched Tom on television or not, seeing the excellent results of his hard work is an experience not to be missed.

Close by you will find the remains of Lullingstone Roman Villa and also St Botolph's Parish Church, which contains some of the oldest stained glass windows in England.
